Mountain Lodge: Located very close to the Village where all après ski activities are such as restaurants, rental shops, shopping, bars, Split Rock Pools. Just steps away from the Ballhooter lift upon exiting the building! Private parking, a large comfortable lobby, scenic overlooks, and slope-side access make this complex convenient for all. All condos feature full kitchens. Address: 75 MOUNTAIN LODGE LN, SNOWSHOE, WV 26209. Mountain Lodge had outside cladding completed in 2020 and will be adding back brand-new balconies in 2022 (currently the building doesn’t have balconies).

❖ Open area concept with living room, dining room and kitchen. This condo offers a queen size sleeper sofa and comfortable chair. Your entertainment options include 50” Roku TV where you can use your Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts to play your favorite shows and play direct TV channels. The unit has a WI-FI connection for entertainment or remote working and portable air conditioning.

❖ The kitchen comes with a small prep kitchen island with stove/oven (full sized), microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, regular coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, pots, and pans, all cooking utensils and serving dishes to test your culinary skills or even bake something if you wish. The kitchen has a telephone for easy access to phone calls if your cell phone doesn't work (Only AT&T and T-Mobile get signal on the mountain).
❖ Clean, tidy, and spacious to pamper and clean yourself. Equipped with shower, bathtub, toilet, and sink with cabinet underneath and a hygiene shelf beside the wide mirror installed above the sink. Full bath with dual head detachable multi-setting shower head.
❖ Limited Cell Phone Service: Because of the national quiet zone, only AT&T and T-Mobile subscribers get signal on parts of the mountain. You can use Wi-Fi calling for your cell phone to make and receive phone calls. Each condo has its own house phone which can be used to make and receive local and long-distance calls. The condo phone no. is 304-572-0xxx (where xxx is the room number of your condo). You may also use that phone to dial 911 in the event of an emergency.
Snowshoeskivacation is your perfect spot for your mountain-style vacation! We host families and groups in our 40 plus ski-in/ski-out condos. Book these condos for groups, family gatherings, or weddings. The ball hooter lifts and skidder slopes are right outside the back door.

Mountain Lodge renovation:
❖ Mountain Lodge exterior is now brand new and looks great. Welcome to the new and improved Mountain Lodge. Balconies will be added in 2022 starting April 2022. No construction work during the ski season. Mountain Lodge has a full-time housekeeping and maintenance staff, as well a front desk that is manned 24X7 during the winter season. If you require assistance or experience a problem during your stay, please reach out Front desk 304-572-2020.
COVID-19 Ready Guest Protocol at Mountain Lodge (Subject to change):
❖ Guest will be provided one blanket for each bed. If you need an extra blanket, please bring it with you
❖ Guests are asked to practice social distancing and we recommend wearing masks in common areas
❖ Guests may only ride the elevator one person at a time unless they are sharing a reservation
❖ Please check, double-check and triple-check the condo before checking out to make sure that you have packed up all personal belongings. General Mountain Information:
❖ Please check openings of third-party activities as this are continually changing based on season and COVID-19 requirements. We only provide lodging and discount our rates when the resort is not in peak season. We do not guarantee any third-party activities and do not offer any refunds for non-availability or closure of third-party activities.
❖ Please be advised that Snowshoe is limiting the number of ticket sales. So, please ensure you book your lift tickets right away to avoid any surprises.
❖ Lodging will be available daily (all week). To help facilitate social distancing measures, certain areas of the resort will use capacity management.
❖ Linens, towels, kitchen towel, trash bags, toilet paper and bar soap (Please plan to bring your shampoo and other toiletries). Please also bring cooking supplies like salt, pepper and oil.
❖ You can bring your ski equipment in the room.
❖ CHECK-IN TIME STARTS AT 5:00 PM. House cleaning staff needs ample time to prepare the unit so that it is clean for you upon your arrival. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN THE CHECK-IN TIME.
❖ CHECK-OUT TIME IS BY 11:00 AM. If you would like to request a late checkout, please know that we may not be able to accommodate that request and if we can, there will be a fee.
❖ BOOKINGS ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE / Refundable based on the channel policy you book on. Keeping in mind our guests need, we have designed one of the best cancellation policies. You can book with us and purchase travel/trip insurance if available.
❖ PETS, BIKES, AND SMOKING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. THERE WOULD BE A $300 FINE FOR VIOLATION. You may only bring a bike into the building if you have rented a bike locker from Mountain Lodge front desk.
❖ WI-FI Network =” Mountain Lodge 219” and then enter password= 3045720xxx (xxx is your room number). Sometimes the network in one room does not get a strong signal, you can look up another room’s WI-FI and connect your device using the password associated with that room number.
❖ Please be advised that we only accept last minute bookings until 2:00 PM as this will give us enough time to prepare the unit for an enjoyable stay.

Mountain Lodge is located in Village Central, right next to the Ballhooter Lift. Village shops, restaurants, and the Split Rock Pools are all just steps away. Mountain Lodge features a private parking lot and comfortable lobby with large fireplace and scenic overlook. Complimentary building-wide Wi-Fi access is provided. Enjoy the coin-operated game room and the indoor lounge with movies available. All of their condos feature full kitchens and walkout balconies. Bedding, linens, and paper products are supplied.

This place is not that good. The location is amazing if you are looking to ski or snowboard & is close to the village with shops and restaurants. The pictures make this place look so much better. In my opinion, it is overpriced. It is smaller than it seems. The place is not very clean. Towels have stains. No shampoo provided and have to buy at front desk. Only one trash bag provided. Hairdryer does not work. Towel rack beam keeps falling. Ac/heat does not work too well. Bed and bed headboard creak with the slightest movements. Bed is not comfortable. Can hear all the noise from hallways. There is a constant humming noise that I could not pinpoint where it was coming from the entire time. The wine cooler is very loud. The sofa is uncomfortable but good thing is that it does convert to a pull out bed. I would recommend this place if you are just focused on skiing/snowboarding as it is ski in/ski out and the location is great for that. Other than that, would not recommend.

Manish’s apartment, one of many nestled into the Snowshoe Mountain Lodge, was everything we needed for a quick getaway to my favorite mountain. It lies right next to the Split Rock Pool complex directly next to the action in Snowshoe Village; and yes, the lift is right outside. Unit 219 is directly above the Mountain Lodge’s theater atrium, screening fun movies on select nights. The end of the hallway leads straight to the ballhooter lift, and Allegheny house provides lift tickets. Wildcat Provisions is a short walk up the main road, offering everything you need right outside your door. If you’ve ever been to Snowshoe, you already know. Most cellular service ends as soon as you cross the mountains into West Virginia approaching Snowshoe. Addresses and landmarks can be nigh impossible to spot, especially if you arrive after dusk. Be sure to make detailed instructions for yourself to make it there with minimal confusion. This means screenshots of directions, check-in instructions, and possibly a map of the Snowshoe Mountain Top complex, available on Snowshoe Mountain’s website. Besides navigational and cellular hardships, Manish’s apartment will be a welcome reprieve after your journey up the mountain, and prove generously cozy after a long day on the slopes. Can’t wait to be up there again!

It’s all about location. Thankfully the room has been updated, unfortunately, the main building is in desperate need of some renovations. Location and Manish’s attention make it a good and easy rental. Stayed in condo 01/20/2020.
