Summer Activities in Snowshoe
The Snowshoe Mountain Biking has almost 40 trails and 1,500 feet of vertical descent, with trails for beginners through experts.
This one and a half hour session includes half an hour of training and an hour tour. In the tour, you’ll go into the woods, on forest trails and walking paths.
The Raven Golf Course is a Gary Player Signature golf course, is an 18-hole championship layout with dramatic elevation changes and rugged rock faces.
Hare Racer Zipline
In the center of Snowshoe Village, the Hare Racer Zipline has a side-by-side design that lets you race a friend or zip by yourself.
The 4-seat Polaris RZR Tours last an hour and a half, and give you ‘the thrill of riding the ultimate off-road machine’. The tour gives you a peek at a bit of the wild stretch of Snowshoe’s 11,000-acre property.
Snowshoe’s Sporting Clays Center offers a 5-stand course and a 17-stand woods course, for all ability levels.
Split Rock Pools
In the Village, Split Rock Pools is a heated, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, with two hot tubs and a sauna.
Scenic Lift Rides
Both the Balhooter and Western lifts offer beautiful scenic views of Cheat Mountain and the forests blanketing it.
In Shavers Lake, you can go paddle boating, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and swimming. You can also have fun with the inflatable floating challenge. Go on a hike around the lake, grab some food from the Boathouse, or even relax in the shaded hammock area.
There are plenty of hiking trails spread across Snowshoe’s vast property, ranging from easy to difficult.
Village Eurobungy and Climbing Wall
At the village, you can go rock climbing or eurobungy jumping, getting a great view of the mountains while you’re at it!
The Clear, Icy Waters of the Legendary Cranberry, Williams and Elk Rivers provide umatched Fishing for trout, Rainbow, Brown and Brook!
